Sense of Security

Just sharing something that I read and thought it was really touching….Here goes.

Sense of Security

When love is hot and fresh, devoid of obstacles,
It can make us all feel invincible.
The touch of an angel when she stokes your hair, the scent of her perfume evaporates along with any strangling feelings of doubt. And in your heart, there ignites a warm and solid flame. That is the sense of security. But how long does it last?

We try to keep the fire burning steadily, but the winds are merciless and the flame often flickers, sometimes even extinguishing briefly. But if we are committed and attentive, we quickly reignite it, feeding it twice as much fuel as before.
Everyone deserves a sense of security, whether in love, in the workplace, or even alone. Its existence is crucial in establishing trust and cooperation, chemistry and efficiency. Nevertheless, it takes a lot of work, tireless effort, selfless giving and continued dedication.

The mood of this song is set immediately by a steady stream of resounding drums reminiscent of the nervous pounding of and insecure heart. This is the song of someone who mourns the loss of the flame, despite trying desperately to rekindle it. It is a song all too true to my life, as this long distance relationship can be so full of insecurities. As the song progresses, the entire band joins in to support the vocals, adding strength, reflecting the passion required to retrieve that lost feeling. I hope this song gives you strength, and courage, and a sense of security every time you listen to it.
